Question Microphone from new headphones doesnt work

I just bought gaming headphones and i cant seem to fix the microphone, people cant hear me talk.

I am using Windows 10 btw.

1.Control panel > 2.Hardware and Sound > 3.Sound >4.Recording >Right-Click on your microphone >5.Properties > 6. Level >7.Microphone Boot +20 dB

Gaming Headphones from Gembird and yes they are connected to the PC



The problem is that the computer doesn't read them and they are plugged in into the microphone port, i can hear sounds from my headphones but the microphone doesnt work, could my port be damaged or something?

I asked about which connector(s) do headphones have, is there two 3.5mm plugs, one for microphone and one for earphones or just one for both ?

There are two 3.5mm plugs yes, one for mic and one for headphones.

Microphone usually goes to pink jack and phones to green. Then you do what Nutsato said.

Yes I know but I can't hear my voice from the mic but I can hear sound from the phones.

At the moment the headphones with the mic are connected to the PC but it doesn't recognize them.

Here is a SS, it says not plugged in while it is plugged in lol.

Can other people hear your voice when you talk on the mic? In the windows sound settings when you talk into the mic do you see the audio levels change?

No they can't hear me and when I test the mic the audio levels don't change.
