Question Microphone has "noise gate" sound ONLY in certain apps

As said, whenever I'm talking through discord, game chat or even OBS my Blue Yeti microphone has this noise gate filter added on to it and severely lowers the sound quality. HOWEVER, only on Fl Studio does my mic sound perfectly crystal clear. I've updated my drivers for both Realtek and Blue yeti and but to no avail I am stuck.

Are you able to provide a bit more description about "noise gate"?

How is the sound qualtity lowered: static, garbling, gaps, loudness up or down, frequency changes....?

My intrepretation is that if the volume is too loud then some equalizer triggers and mutes or stifles the microphone's input.

As for FL Studio, it simply may be able to handle the incoming audio problems.
