Question Microphone produces a lot of static noice

Hi,
Yesterday installed my new pc and then went gaming with some friends. Microphone is not working, however (produces only static noice). I have tried plugging the pink audio in the back of the PC and in the front, both with same results. I have updated windows 10 and I have searched for new drivers using the windows driver tool. I suspect it has something to do with the motherboard: X570 MSI A Pro.
Any suggestions on how to fix?

Ow, one addition. Windows does recognise the microphone (It's listed under input devices). So might be Windows problem too I guess?

i would check micropone in another system if it does the same need to be replace short in it .

I'm afraid the microphone works in other system

it work on another system could you try to plug another mic on the case that have the 670x board and made sure you have the audio chipset driver install for this board .

Dont know what fixed it, probs some late driver update... But works now.
Dont't get why manual driver update would not help, but hey, can't complain now ^^
