Question Microphone randomly stops working

Bought my microphone (Auna CM 900) in 2018, it worked for a couple of months and then stopped. It does not stop working entirely, but instead of sound there is a low hissing sound. I switched to another mic and forgot about it, but in the beginning of 2019 I connected it and it was working perfectly for 5-6 months and then "died" again with same issue: again low hissing sound. If I disconnect mic from the PC and let it "relax" for some time, it works again but for a random amount of time (10 minutes - few hours). What can cause that problem that it just stops working for some time and then works again? Also I tried it on different PCs, so most probably it is not related to PC issues.

It may be a bad wire in the cable that is intermittently good/bad.
It may be that the cable changes position ever so slightly when not used/moved that causes it to work again.
I would try flexing the cable at different spots along its entire length, while using it, to see if you can find the spot that is bad.
Quite often fine wires fail close to either end of the cable due to bending/stress.
If that proves to be the problem, you have the option of cutting out the bad spot and repairing the wires, or making a bend that
makes the connection good, and taping or ty-wrapping it so it stays in that position.

I tried different cables, still same issue.
