Microphone settings wont apply

Hi my microphone settings in Windows are constantly change for example the mic sensitivity always changes to 100% I've tried many things but nothing seems to work. For example in Mumble, Skype, Discord etc my mic gets really loud for the other people im talking to and i have to change it back to normal and advice helps thanks
