If you can't get your head around Metro and/or not understand why it's really not that much different a concept from the current windows 7 start menu (not to mention infinitely more useful), you really can't claim to be a technology or computer enthusiast. Luddites cower in the dark and complain about change, the rest of us take the 5 minutes necessary to learn new ways of doing things and enjoy the benefits.
I'm willing to bet that 95% of the people who come here saying how terrible Windows 8 is don't even use it, or tried it for 5 minutes on a virtual machine (Incidentally, I bet they're also the same people who constantly decry Vista, when those of us who know how to maintain a machine properly used it for years on multiple machines without a single issue). I've been using W8 as my main OS since the developer preview and I have a hard time going back to Windows 7 because of how slow and bulky it appears in comparison.
I know the general consensus is that trashing things on the internet is awesome, but next year, once hundreds of thousands of normal people are using Windows 8 like it was second nature, you're all gonna look a bit silly for no good reason. Constructive criticism is great, what you cretins do here every day is just idiocy looking for an audience.
