Are you folks aware that Microsoft's profits were 26B in 2003, they are now 6B in 2012 ... this is good how?

[citation][nom]back_by_demand[/nom]So Windows 7 is 70% better than Vista, but Windows 8 is only 24% better than Windows 7?...[/citation]
No, are you kidding or did you just epically missed the point? The data is about the quarter of a new Windows release compared to same quatrer of the preceeding year, with no release and dead cold market awaiting for the next generation. Obviously the release quarter entire Windows division have an huge sale boost.
The sale boost of 7 was 70%, meaning sales goes up and then slowly get back to an usual rate.
The sale boost of 8 was 24%... do you see what happens Larry?
This just pairs with the 2,17% market share gained by 8 after 3 months (netapplications). w8 is an unprecedented disaster, Vista had compareble market share after just one month from its release, and was rightfully considered a major scale disaster, Seven had double of this market share at 1 month from release. Do you see what happens Larry?

Windows 8 is AWESOME, IF you hide metro with Start8, then it is glorious. Especially if free via KMSnano 15. Seriously it's Windows 7 second Edition, very refined and fast. System requirements literally have not gone up (maybe 2GB more hard drive space), it is faster, except for the new Task manager, which takes more resources, but hey it's welcome.

I have Start8 configured to give me a green "start" button graphic like XP.
