If MS would make a good shop with fair prices (steam's euro = dollar anyone?) im sure they would eat of steams dollar pie pretty well. Competition is good for the customers and i'm sure MS are willing to spend pretty big on this project.

Hope they only the right person in charge!

I will pay the extra money to get the box, manual, and disc. To be honest, i would rather install off a disk or two in 15mins time, than wait an hour or so depending on game size to download. I have a friend that is the oppose of me, he purchases everything through steam, took him all day to get 3 games installed and updated. Took me 2 hours and to install 6 games and updates.

Forgot to mention, Steam also does a VERY poor job of keeping your data sequential, after my friend downloaded and installed his 3 games and updates (day 1) we did a disk defrag, (he uses a completely separated drive just for his steam/game folder, nothing else) the whole thing was fragmented to HELL. Just another reason I will not use steam.
