Question Microsoft Store - Page could not be loaded (0x80131500)

Hi,

I cannot access my Microsoft Store nor any of its applications (e.g. Mail).

What I've tried:

wsreset
Uninstall package through Powershell, reinstall package through Powershell
Reinstall appx and appxbundles manually
Terminate (through Apps & Features)
Reset (through Apps & Features)
Run the Microsoft Store Troubleshooter
Check for Updates
Check for Additional/Optional Updates
Change DNS
Check TLS
Checked Proxy Server (none)
Checked VPN (none)
Checked firewall
Checked Windows Defender (I have no other anti virus)
Checked internet limitations
Checked regional settings
Not signed in on Xbox
Performed SFC and DISM scans
Clean boot
Stopped BITS, Cryptographic, MSI installer and Windows Update Services: net stop wuauserv, cryptSvc, bits, msiserver, renmaed SoftwareDistribution and catroot2, then started the services again and restarted pc (https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/error-code-0x80070422-microsoft-store.3674596/)
Restarted PC several times

that error code kinda says that windows update service isnt running
look in eventviewer, it could pinpoint to something

try runnin windows update troubleshooter aswell

wuauserv (Windows Update) seems to be running and is set to automatic. I restarted my computer to double-check and it indeed runs automatically and fine.

Not sure what the rules are regarding bumping on this forum but I still have the same issue.

one bump once a while should be fine i guess...

go to c:\program files\windowsapps
search for Microsoft.WindowsStore
copy paste that folder name here

4 versions hmmm including insider build

what is your current windows build number?
win+r -> winver

I'm currently on Windows 11, version 21H2 (22000.282)
Had this issue while using W10 but updating to W11 also didn't fix it

ya, multiple running instances, okay lets clean it up a bit

Bash:

Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers -Package "Microsoft.Services.Store.Engagement_10.0.18101.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe"
Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers -Package "Microsoft.Services.Store.Engagement_10.0.18101.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe"
Remove-AppxPackage -AllUsers -Package "Microsoft.WindowsStore_11811.1001.27.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe"

that will remove older instances of those apps (windows 10 1607 i believe)

they probably werent active (some time ago at some point), but by running powershell winapp repair command, they could be installed manually...

anyway, once done, got to program files\windowsapps
see if those 3 packages are gone from there

Microsoft.WindowsStore_22110.1401.6.0 is the only one you need there

run also this to make sure store apps are running on current build numbers
