This is the pro with full fledged i3, i5 and i7's. These are not the cheap tablets with ARM chips.

So it's a notebook wanabe with a crappy keyboard and a small screen.

It'll be fine for basic mobile stuff. If you want to play BF4 and Tomb Raider on a mobile, you need a much larger gaming laptop to do that. The iPad 3/4 is driving a 2048x1536 screen, I don't see why HD 4400 will have problems with a similar resolution and tasks.

I'm also glad they ditched the 16:9 ratio. It's nice for TVs and movies, but the extra height makes a big deal in creative and productive applications.

I really want to see a Bay Trail Surface, though. A 10" tablet with the fit and finish of the Pro, x86 architecture, and a $200 cheaper price tag would fly off the shelves.

Yet, ironically, the best I've yet had. The fact they've made it even lighter than the SP2 I now own is very nice. Though, I wish it wasn't so soon.

I'd consider it a crossover. It has the power of a notebook with the form factor of tablet. It's not like it is that heavy either. This is meant for those who want a tablet with real production capabilities.
