Surface pro needs a special CPU, anyway not more than i3' , low frequencies. I have heard about the use of an intel i5 and is it too much in my opinion

I wouldn't want to buy the Surface Pro since there are much better products coming from other manufacturers. But Microsoft has delivered a very innovative design with its Surface Pro, I only hope that with time the performance, price and battery life, gets to an acceptable level so more consumers can buy them. Also, they should eliminate the Surface RT altogether and focus on x86 or x64 tablets and lowering the prices as much as possibles, that imo will make Microsoft the winner.

[citation][nom]moricon[/nom]Why would I gimp CS6 on a tablet, that is what my 4.4Ghz Quad core system is for, real work.[/citation]

The answer to that is very obvious: because you can´t take your quad core pc with you anywhere can you? I also have a pc at home where I do the core of my Photoshop work. However when I do a photoshoot away from home it will be extremelly conveniente to no only immediatly transfer the photos to my surface pro, but also start working on them in Photoshop and show them to my clients in a matter of minutes.

[citation][nom]thecolorblue[/nom]i disagree... i couldn't care less if it is 1000x more powerful, if the battery is dead in 4 hours... or at 3- something after less than a year then this product is dead before launch[/citation]

what an idiotic thing to say. 4 hours is the battery life of the macbook air for example... do you see it being "dead before launch". Most people don´t really need the battery life to last that long (and if you do just get the RT, that is the whole point of it) because they just need a portable laptop replacement that can be easily moved around and can be easily plugged in once you reach your destination.
