Hi guys,

I want to build a mid range PC, nothing special. I just wanted to ask if these components go well together, since i haven't built anything in a while:

CPU:
Intel Core i5 10400F or 11400F

GPU:
R9 380 (using an old one from previous PC)

Motherboard:
Gigabyte h510m h ultra sustainable

PSU:
Chieftec GPE-600S 600W ECO (do i need a better PSU?)

SSD:
Kingston SSD 500GB M.2 NVMe SNVS

RAM:
KINGSTON HyperX Impact SO-DIMM 8GB DDR4 2666MHz CL15

B560 board + 10400F + DDR4 3200

B560 board + 10400F + DDR4 3200

Thanks for the recommendation, but i read that the RAM at 3200mhz wont work at its full speed, because the motherboard will limit it. Any truth to that?

Better quality. A decent 550W or 650W

Most "modern" PSU platforms are now 550W, 650W, 750W, etc. Not even multiples of 100W.

Sometimes giving budget & country are helpful to allow people to suggest cost effective alternatives.

What case do you have?
Thank you man, i will look into it. Budget is around 500-550$, im from Serbia. Honestly, no idea what case i have, its old, i will have to buy a new one.

No, these are both very low quality, and arguably actually worse (especially the Thermaltake). You're trying to find your savings in the worst possible place.

With new parts and an older GPU but one that could draw up to around 200W, you should be looking at a Tier B PSU at worst. Failing that, I wouldn't recommend any upgrade at all; it would be the equivalent of buying a sports car but being unable to afford either the maintenance or insurance.

If you can afford to, I would move to a 12100, B660 ddr5 board, and some budget ddr5. At least then you have real upgrade options.

Are you limited to buying within Serbia or are there other/neighboring countries you could shop in. Trying to figure what online sources of pricing we can/should use.

Most people here like to use pcpartpicker.com. If you view their desktop (not mobile) page, you can see/select countries on the top right corner. Admittedly, they don't have a broad range of retailers that they track outside of the top 10-ish countries, but it's easy for us to use.
