Migrating OEM Windows 10 to SSD

It's been three days since I bought for my self, a new laptop - an ASUS Vivobook K510UQ with 8th Gen. Intel core i5 8250U processor, 8Gb DDR4 Memory, 1TB 5400RPM Hard disk and NVIDIA 940MX Graphics. Previously I had been using an old 2nd gen i3 based acer laptop with 4gb ram + 128gb samsung 750 evo ssd. My acer laptop had very fast response. But my new laptop seems more slower and sluggish as compared to my acer one. I have decided to upgrade my new lappy with an ssd (128gb**)

My Question --> Is it possible to Clone/Migrate my OEM Windows 10 Home copy from my 1tb hard drive to my new ssd without any problems such as fail boot attempt etc.. ?? Because OEM Windows has something in it that it has to work only on a specific factory set hardware. Can someone also tell the procedure of doing so (if it is really possible without any problem) -- because I don't want to loose my hard earned original windows copy??

A new drive is no problem.
This is a brand new system, with not much installed on it?
Presumably the current used space is well below 80GB?

Assuming you've bought the proper type drive, 2.5" m.2 SATA or m.2 NVMe...cloning should be no problem..These steps, adjust for your particular laptop:

Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration)
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the 450MB Recovery Partition, here:

-----------------------------

actually the seller from where I bought my lappy said that it is not possible to do so. And, secondly, only about 38gb is occupied. So, in migration all my data will be preserved??? Right ?? Please tell me 100% sure that I won't face any problems becuase I don't want to loose my original windows. I have bought a normal 2.5 inch SSD.

Actually, the "seller" is 100% wrong.
Nothing is "100%", but cloning usually works. And if it "fails", the original drive is not touched.

How do you plan on connecting this SSD to do the clone?
A USB dock would work for this.

Yeah. USB to SATA Dock is the option. Another thing, there are I guess 4 partitions in total (only 1 OS partition is visible in "This PC") Among the 4, I think one is NTFS, FAT 32 & GPT each and the last one may be NTFS too (not sure). So does these types of different partitions (especially the system part - GPT) effect clone/ssd boot operation ?

All partitions on the drive.
