Minecraft Low FPS

Just wondering if there's any easy way (without Optifine) to boost FPS, or which part of my Laptop is keeping my FPS at around 15.

I don't have a problem with Optifine, but it just comes out slower than the MC updates.

I'll take any suggestions, and if you need any other info just let me know. Thanks
