I am planning to buy a PC and a 240hz monitor, I play r6 on low settings, want to know the least GPU required for r6 240 FPS as I am on a tight budget.

Thanks,
Nik

Make and model of your monitor/display? You also might want to include your current specs list so we know what you're working with. This is a thread asking for an upgrade advice, so you should follow up with your location, your budget and your preferred sit of purchase.

From what I was able to find, it's the GTX 1660 paired with either Ryzen 3600, or I5-9600K.
https://www.gpucheck.com/en-usd/gpu/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1660/intel-core-i5-9600k-3-70ghz/low

BUT, being that those are benchmarks and they won't match everyone's PCs to a 'T', I'd bump the gpu up to the 1660Ti.

I have a gtx 1070 and I have 150+ fps in siege with some settings on low and some on very high. So I think a gtx 1660 is more than enough for low settings 144fps. I have a ryzen 5 2600 and 16gb 3000mhz ram btw. The 2600 is stock.

This is taking into account that the OP doesn't have the exact same components and software in their PC compared to whoever did the benchmarks.
Unless you have the exact same setups of those having been used in these benchmarks, don't expect the exact same results. Safer to bump up to the next strongest part.
R6 Seige fps didn't change when I swapped the Ryzen 3600 to 3700X, nor 9600k to 9700k, which means those extra threads will be next to useless(for that game, as per the OPs request).
