Question Missing the Epson Twian Driver - Windows 10

Windows 10 64. Has anyone successfully installed drivers (Twain in particular) for the Epson Perfection 4180 Photo Scanner?
I've run the Epson-provided EEM_3.11.77 driver utility (several times) and I never get a Twain driver installed.

I thought TWAIN was more of a standard than a driver. You'll need some application capable of initiating a scan.

TWAIN is not a driver, it's a set of protocols (it's actually an acronym for "Technology Without An Interesting Name"). If the drivers installed and the scanner is seen and can be used in your software then it is properly installed.

When I try to use the scanner this is the message I get.

"Please install the supported TWAIN driver"

If its not a driver then ??

While there is a driver that supports the TWAIN protocols it is NOT for Windows 10. The only way you will use that scanner with Win 10 is to download (and pay for) Vuscan
