Hey guys new member here. I'm currently acquiring the parts for my first PC build. My set up is as follows, Ryzen 3600, NVME 500GB SSD, MSI X570, EVGA 2060 Ultra KO 6GB, Montech X ARGB case, and a 750 Watt modular power supply.

I originally went with 16 GB of G. Skill ripjaw ram (2x8) (3200). However I recently decided I might like to add some flare and use RGB ram instead. I'm also using this PC for video editing and some gaming so I thought maybe extra ram wouldn't hurt. The Trident Z 16GB 2x8 kit(3200) seems nearly identical aside from the RGB. Can I run these sticks together for 32gb of ram or do I need to return the ripjaw set and only run Trident exclusively?

Appreciate the expertise.

Solution
Mixing RAM always has a 50-50 chance of working together, even if it has the same specs. Its why they are sold in kits for max compatibility. But in my years of experience they tend to work out more often than not. The only way to know is by installing them and then see. So, keep your fingers crossed. You can always return them if it doesn't work out.
