Mixing Memory

I just bought the 3x4 Corsair Vengeance CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9 RAM, 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5V

I'm replacing 3x2 OCZ Gold OCZ3G1600LV6GK, 8-8-8 @ 1.65V

My mobo is an EVGA X58 SLI LE

Can these two types of memory be mixed to make 18GBs? Is it worth it to do so?

If so, how do I go about making these two types play nice?

It should work, and if mobo will not like the voltage, it will not work, but it will not damage it.
