Mixing Memory

I have 2gig of Mushkin ddr2 800 5-5-5-15 running in my system now; and I have 1gig of corsair ddr2 675 cas4 sitting in a package collecting dust. I was wondering if mixing these two on my computer would create stability issues in either XP, Vista or Ubuntu. My X2 3800 is OC'd to 2.4ghz, by the way, and I have this all running on an Asus M2N-E.

It will run all memory at slower speed. Open Task Manager, Performance Tab, bottom left corner. Keep an eye on Peak Commit Charge. If it never goes above the total physical RAM, you don't need more RAM, and would just slow your system for no good reason.
