I've currently got 2/4 ram slots occupied in my pc, the 2 in there currently are 4gb sticks of corsair LP 1600mhz, and I've got 2 spare 2gb sticks of kingston hyperx blue 1600mhz. So if I put the extra two sticks of kingston ram in would it work okay or would there be complications? This would only be used for 2 or 3 months until I get a completely new set of 16gb 2133mhz+ ram

You can always try, but it often doesn't work perfectly. Just keep in mind that sometimes it appears to work, but you'll start getting weird symptoms/notifications you've not gotten previously. If you do, strongly suspect the new RAM.

If you're not actually finding yourself short on memory, or can manage without the additional 4gb, my suggestion is to just wait until you get the new matched set.
As long as the board is dual channel then this should be okay. However, you have to take into consideration that some memory modules just don't play well together, even if they're the same P/N from the same brand that was purchased at a different time.

In short - I can't say whether this will work well or not. But as long as the DIMMs are able to work together, you shouldn't have a problem.
