I have the xbox wireless adaptor. It works on live in
games (halo2, ESPN NFL, NFSU2) The problem I have is it
does not connect to live when I run the network
configuration through the dashboard. I get an
error "unable to connect/communicate with the network" I
am als unable to view the signal strength in the
dashboard, I get the same error.

It does how ever connect to live and I can see my friends
list from the dashboard.

I really would like to see my signal strength since my
wireless router is 2 floors up.

Any ideas???

If your router/base station is feeding DHCP out, everything should be
automatic. Make sure you're in Infrastructure mode, and not in System Link.
