Hey everyone,

I have a new build I just upgraded with and I can't seem to get the video card to be seen by the mobo.
I have an XFX 7900 XTX onto an msi z790-a wifi board. Powered by Corsair 850x white edition.

I reseated cables and reinstalled the card twice now and the mobo shows a white light code (no vgu connected) and hoping for some help.

I am powering the card with one of the modular 2x6+2 pin pcie cable and a separate 6+2 pcie cable. (gpu needs 3x8pin connectors)

I installed my old 2080ti onto the board and the mobo saw that gpu right away. Powered on and worked fine (currently using just the 2080ti now) and I tested all the 6+2 cables on the 2080ti to make sure it wasn't a cable issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks,

Would safe bet be to get an 3x8pin cable to conect your GPU with maybe that will help. Are you using two diffrent PCI cables in your GPU from other brands and such. My thoughts is the Corsair 850x white edition got 2x6+2 and your GPU now needs 3x8pin

Have you also used DDU to remove all the drivers and try and install new AMD drivers for this GPU
