hello, I am going to buy build a new computer with i5-10400f and I am Looking for a MOBO that will be compatible .
I already have a memory RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory Kit

my problem is that 3200mhz ram requires a z490 board and its too expensive for me. but on the other hand it would be a waste of memory
if I take motherboard that supports lower than 3200..
my second option is to build a computer with AMD Ryzen 5 3600 ( with b450m) but it isn't available at good prices..
what do you think?

my pc build is:
ASUS GTX1660 SUPER DUAL-GTX1660S-O6G-EVO
CoolerMaster Hyper 212
Corsair Carbide 275R Gaming Black
Seagate HDD 1.0TB 64MB SATA3 Barracuda
Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD
main use: mid-range gaming. no overclock.

Solution
All ddr4 ram has a default lower speed that lets you get into the bios to set the speed you want.
Your 3200 speed ram will work.
How fast is determined by both the cpu and the motherboard.
Since you will not be overclocking, any lga1200 motherboard will work.
The H410 chipset and B460 chipset motherboards will be the cheapest.
There are very few relevant differences.
Here is a chart:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_1200
support for your processor is limited to 2666 speed.
2933 speed is supported by i7 or i9 processors.
Ram speed for intel is relevant only if your use integrated graphics.
A moot point with a f suffix processor.
Pick any lga1200 motherboard that is the size you want and which may have other features that you need...
Hey, sorry for the Dealey. I have one more option to take
ANTEC PSU 550W EARTHWATTS GOLD PRO , so what is better:

CX550M 550W PSU 80+ Bronze Modular
or
ANTEC PSU 550W EARTHWATTS GOLD PRO

they are in similar prices .
That antec psu is great its tier A
Check this recommended psu list go for tier A or B ignore the rest

can somebody make it clear - if my cpu is i5-10400f with b460 mobo or something cheaper (definately not z490), then ram speed is max 2666mhz. So would it matter to buy 2666mhz sticks with higher CL, for example 2666mhz CL16 vs 2666mhz CL14. Would it be significant increase worth of extra money for better CL? Thanks for patience and help.

It's a bit tough to say mostly, I'd say if you want overall faster memory then go with Cl14 else I don't think Cl16 would be bad if the price is too high then yea it's not worth imo.
Cl14 ram latency-10.....nanosec
Cl16 ram latency-12....nanosec
(Approx value)
