[SOLVED] MOBO or VIDEO CARD?

A few days ago my computer just won't boot-up. The CPU (intel pentium e6600) and GPU (nvidia GT 220) fans are running but there is no display. So I decided basic reset methods such as reset BIOS, clear BIOS and trying to change the cable to onboard video card. But get the same result. So I bought secondhand motherboard (ASROCK G41M-S3). It works on onboard video settings but whenever I put my Video card to the motherboard, the display will have black screen with few glitches on the screen and just stuck there. Could it possible that I bought a defective MOBO? or my Video card is the defective one?

Your old board is defective and the gt 220 could be defective too

After trial and error. My GPU working again, just by updating my MOBO's BIOS. Thanks anyways.
