Hi few days ago, I went up on newegg.ca. Most ASUS AM3+ motherboards comes with hidden core unlocker, overclocking and supports AM3 processors.

Are all motherboards the same size?(if not do I need to replace my HP case?)

Will most new motherboard still support 3pin heatsink cooling fan?

Will my rosewill 450watt power supply will be compatible with the new motherboards?

Do I have to buy a new OS window7 if I replace a motherboard?

Since I don't want to make another topic, I'll ask one more question: If my AMD processor is internally damaged, is there a way of fixing it instead of buying/upgrading a new processor?<--totally off topic. But please answer it.

Oh sorry, I forgot to post my specs. Okay heres my spec for my computer. I'll start with "small" hardware to big ones.

AMD athlon II x4 620
ATI radeon HD 4650
Rosewill 450watt power supply
6GB of RAM
M2N-78(violet) Mobo (upgrading later on)
HP pavilion case/tower

If I'm missing something tell me again and I'll add it.

Damaged what pins or what?[/quotemsg]

I haven't put thermal paste on my CPU for about 3months. Then computer started to have BSOD, unexpected crashes and sometimes overheats. At the moment, I do have thermal paste put on. It still leads me to crashes. But just not that often. Surfing through web and playing casual games doesn't lead me to crash. But playing something that requires higher specs makes it crash.

OK, u don't have to change it like oil in the car, only when u remove the cooler.

Are u now running without any paste? Is it just cooler sitting on the CPU and no thermal paste?
