please recommend me a am2 mobo within 100- 150 cdn that is rock solid and can support the new amd cpus. I am not even going to touch overclocking so stability is number 1 and compatibility number 2.

First that mobo is a 939 socket not AM2. If you don't already have the CPU, make sure you get the AM2 with a AM2 board. While the 2 bards vegie lists are AM2 not sure why you'd want the second if you're getting a video card unless you want a micro board, i.e., you don't need on board video. If you're going to capture off a camcorder, you'll want a board with onbard firewire so you don't have to add a card later. I know you can't buy from newegg if your in Canada, unless you have friend in the US, but I'd suggest you go up there to check various mobo. ASUS makes good mobo for AMD also MSI, ePOX, and DFI. Do a power search for AM2 boards without onboard video can check the reviews and when you get it narrowed down, check some review at extremetech, tomshardware, and any other legit tech sites and then see what's available up north.

I would thoroughly recommended the GA-M57SLI-S4 by Gigabyte.. It will serve you well, its even got SLI capabilities if you want. Or if you maybe want a Crossfire board.. Id go for the Epox 580X aka 3200xpress.. It great too..
