Ok I understand now...If money is no issues then go the Master route as it does have everything and the kitchen sink including better VRM cooling and the VRM is more than good enough! And it has the ESS Sabre DAC! Also the overclocking will be just as good as again there are many reviews of the Master confirming this and it has been reviewed extremely well....Enjoy...

Money makes a huge difference, so if you are saving cash on the Master, then go for it..I always seem to need to save cash....Having a wife and kids means you have too!!!

My choice would be the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite which has a great 12 Phase VRM though probably a bit overkill for the 8600K...but if you ever upgrade to the 9th gen 9700K, 9900K or 9900KS, then it will come in handy! $169.00

If you want to save money then the Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X with still a good VRM 10+2 phase $137.00 or the ASRock Z390 Extreme4 at $119.89.

I heard that Gigabyte Motherboard has worst BIOS ever. is that true?

The Gigabyte Motherboard has its own boost features and will do everything the MSI board does with pre overclock setting etc.

As to the PSU, I have the EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3 which is a great PSU though even a good 650w Gold will do the job. Best makes are Seasonic the Focus Plus Gold range or the EVGA G3 though any good quality make gold rated PSU should do a great job.

EVGA a bit pricey - https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Supernova-Modular-Warranty-220-G2-0850-XR/dp/B005BE058W?th=1

Yes as someone who used to use ASUS, the BIOS is not as easy as say ASUS and gave me trouble but they have improved greatly and now the BIOs is definitely better though still takes a bit of learning. As importantly they have released guides to make it easy on the overclocking side and I have been using the Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 since launch and have had no issues getting to grips with it with a solid 4.9GHz overclock on my 8700K at 1.278v. There are also good user forums that help with all the settings.

They have also massively improved there power delivery setup and now have pretty much the best VRM and power delivery of all the motherboards bar the extreme mental ones!

Hi,

How's the ASROCK Z390 Tiachi ultimate motherboard for i9-9900K to do overclock?

Will it be good choice? how's the review of ASrock motherboard against the Gigabyte Aorus series?

Yes the ASRock Z390 Tiachi is a more than a solid board for the 9900K. Very strong 12 phase VRM with just about everything needed. But if you are in that price range, the Gigabyte Aorus Ultra and Aorus Master both come out on top in the reviews against the ASRock Tiachi but it is still not a bad choice.

Do you have any reviews of Aorus ultra mobo. Because i am not able to find the review of aorus ultra on internet through trusted source or website.

If you know any please share the same.

Thank you

You are right in that there are not many reviews bu there is this one from thinkComputers but the Aorus Ultra is very, very similar to the Aorus Master with really just some minor differences. In fact some say the VRM is better on the Ultra and the Master has the better cooling but both are right at the top end of great motherboards for the 9900K:

Yes even i have read that Ultra has better VRM which has SIC634 and Master has IR3599 .

And SIC is better than IR. So which one should i buy out of Ultra and Master.

I have 9900K and want to do overclock upto 5.1 GHZ all cores. Which will fit best in that scenario.

And Will Master will be underutilized motherboard as it has bad VRM than Ultra? could you please suggest which one should i go in terms of BEST VRM?

Hi

I have 9900k cpu and want to buy the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus master Motherboard.

And i will do the 9900k Overclock to 5.1 GHZ all cores and Ram to do XMP to 3200MHZ

Will this motherboard work fine in terms of power delivery, VRM cooling, 12 phase VRM and all?

Or will it create any bottleneck in same?

Any other motherboard which suits best here in terms of power delivery, VRM cooling, 12 phase VRM and all?

Boy you do ask tough questions....If it was me, and my money, I would get the Ultra as it has pretty much everything needed for great overclocking with an exceptional VRM setup and looking at the forums, 5GHz + is fairly straightforward on the 9900K with the Ultra.

PS and the money saved can go to a better cooling solution as you will need it. I have a 360mm AIO for my 8700K overclocked to 4.9GHz at 1.278v which does a great job keeping it cool under maximum stress and the 9900K will require great cooling....so go at least 280mm AIO or 360mm AIO or the mighty Noctua NH-D15 if you are an air cooling guy..I would still go water either custom or AIO!

Sorry to ask, Why i am asking, because i am getting very good deal on Z390 Aorus master.

So money is not concern here. i am just asking is that Master VRM is bad than the Ultra one?

if yes, any idea why? it has higher series than ultra.

Thanks you for the help here choosing the correct motherboard.

So i will buy the Master MOBO. and now i have one doubt.

In master MOBO. we have backplate in motherboard. Do we need to remove that Backplate before installing inside the case, or
can we install Master motherboard with preinstalled backplate in the case?

Hi no problems at all.... As to the back plate on the Aorus Master, no you do not take it of...It acts as protection and helps dissipate heat..
