Modding LED lights in a psu?

Hello,

Quick question for people who mod alot of stuff. I built a computer a while ago and after a couple weeks decided to change from blue LEDs to red LEDs, and it looks alot better. The problem is that my psu still has blue lights in it and after about a month that is starting to drive me crazy. Is there any way to switch those LEDs out with red ones? or at the very least, take the blue ones out? I've never messed around in a psu before and I really dont want to break the psu or cause a short or something like that.

It's entirely possible. It will, however, void the warranty of the PSU.

What PSU do you have ? does it have a warranty, any sign of warranty viod if opened or anything like that ?

its a Xpower 1080, and im sure it would void the warrenty but at this point the blue lights are driving me insane so i'm willing to risk it as long as doing so wont break it immediately.

Could always spraypaint/ tape over the blues as a non-destructive option
