MODERN WARFARE 2

Hello my fellow PC gamers!

Im writing because Im very confused about all the dilema about Modern Warfare 2. Some people say its the worst thing that IW has taken out after the amazing hit of COD4. I really want to buy the game, but then again I dont want to get it and then feel like a total Idiot after spending $60. Also some friends from school got the game last night and said that they played it till 6am in SP mode. Some said that the story is so intense that they didnt want to go to sleep. How interesting. I really want to try it out. But then with all the things they have taken away from the PC version its a huge draw back. God this is so anoying. Can some one that has bought the game for the PC post something, a review or something that we the PC gamers can rely on. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea, it's kind of a pain to have to shell out money for such hardware, SONY and MS should have key/mouse support for their consoles w/o having to buy anything... Don't know what they were thinking at the time of dev.

yea BC2 looks promising, BC1 was a Fail in IMHO, specially since it was only for consoles....

yeah idk i dont wanna waste so much money so a kb and mouse will work think ill just stick with the controller. i think thats stupid how the consoles have usb but yet dont support kb and mouse and make you buy the adapter.

They don't make you buy the adapter, in fact, they don't even support it. But there is nothing they can do about it, as the adapter emulates the inputs of a controller, and there is no way for the console to recognise the difference.

I agree the only redeeming thing about bad company was that it was pretty damn funny. This type of comedy is missing from other games. Really looking forward to bad company 2 though

well if the console supported kb and mouse then there would be no need for an adapter, which they could of added that in.

same thing like live why did they make it so you gotta pay for it, ur already buying a system for 300 bucks and yet u gotta pay to play on like thats what microsoft gets you

now a ps3 that has free internet hmm, and ppl say the online is awesome aslo.

i think microsoft just wants to make money. but i do have a 360 cuz alot of my friends play it so yeah, but im getting a ps3 this friday hopefully so i wont have to pay for live no more.

The dev console and dedi servers things have been fixed through tools and patches available right now on the web..
By the way.. the US president DOES DIE in the game.. as his safe "hole" under the ground gets hit (I don't know what to call it) so..

9v9 is crap because only 1/20 players online are actually decent. therefore if you're the decent player then you'll be playing with a bunch of muppets for eternity.

it's frustrating enough in TF2 where you can actually choose which server you play on to filter out most of the muppets.

^^ Agreed. Nevermind that for all its faults, Punkbuster at least works. I've only seen a handful of hackers after 5 years of BF2, and never the same thing twice. CSS, I can't go more then 1 match without seeing someone hack.

Good clan servers have 24/7 admin support, so you can deal with people in the long run. A few of us also pass around banned lists, which leads to several hundred server where known hackers are banned for life. Of course, you don't get that now, unless VAC catches them in the act.

i've must have played 1000+ hours of CSS over the years and i've only seen a handful of hackers, and none of them were a problem because there's always an admin on duty to ban them or a voting system to ban steam id quite easily.

are you one of the guys who accuses any smart player of hacking? i get accused of hacking all too often, simply because i can hear footsteps and know exactly when someone is about to appear round a corner, and know the 'sweet spots' to shoot through doors etc... prefiring/walling is easy if you play enough.
