so every time im using my gaming rig browsing,gaimng etc about 1-5hours screen goes black and the pc come unresponsive i tried unplugging all the parts from the mobo except the cpu i tried switching places of the ram 4x4gb i had 4 slots in the mobo ...nothing helps i only have to restart my pc with my self pushing the power off button for 5s tell it turns off

16gb ram 4x4
b85- plus asus
VS650w corsair
rl24hm benq gaming monitor

dont tell me its the psu because ive had problem that had me to format my pc and before it was formated it was perfect

Did you check temps in the system? Did you try running on half the RAM?

Has it done this as soon as you re-installed Windows and the drivers? Or did it work for a bit then started going blank? Try increasing the max power setting in the driver options.

May be a video card or power supply issue, you would need to test the card in another system that can run it or test another card in your system to rule things out.

Solution


i discovered it ..i had to un-overclock my gpu now im running fine but thanks anyway..increasing the max power might help in my case
 


For testing with issues, first thing you should do is set everything to stock speeds if it's overclocked. No way you can trouble shoot when you have another variable like an overclock to deal with. Want to rule out everything and have the system on the basic setup.
