Ok so I want to start PC gaming rather than buying a next gen console. I know my PC is up to it! I want some advice on whether I can use my existing monitors or I need to invest in a gaming monitor. The monitors I currently own are

Crossover 2720MDP GOLD LED 27"

Dell Ultrasharp u2713h

I know my version of the Dell isn't ideal for gaming. I also know that the korean monitors can be overclocked but I'm not sure about my model as I cant find any info on it. I've never worried about overclocking till now coz I only used my PC for photography & Photoshop.

As an average gamer do you think I could use my existing monitors at all? I don't know if buying a 120hz monitor etc is overkill for me as I've only ever played xbox 360 on my TV so far. As I am starting PC gaming I do want a 'great experience' and don't want to be at a disadvantage at all. I would be willing to buy a new monitor but not if my existing ones are good enough?

If anyone knows if my model of the Korean monitor can be overclocked that would also be helpful?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

really depends on how hardcore gaming you want to get into if its just casual a couple of different games a couple times a day i would say just keep your current one as it works fine and since you already own it thats less money you have to spend but if your going into hardcore gaming such as 10+ different games i would say get a new gaming monitor or even perhaps 2 as a dual monitor setup is very nice to have and as for overclocking im sorry im not sure about that.
