Hello, I'm here again.
So my new GTX 1050 TI connected to monitor shows no signal.
I connect like this: DVI - DVI and tried connecting like this HDMI - HDMI/DVI adapter)

Computer video card works, I tested on TV with HDMI port. So I think it's my Monitor DVI port problem.
(VGA works on monitor, and i'm using it now, with integrated graphic card)

How can I fix this ? Should I bring my monitor to service, to repair DVI port connection ? :/

I would say when something burns up like that you do tend to worry if that was all or did it take something out along with it ? the card is connected to the pci-e slot that's connected to the motherboard that connects everything else ? then the psu feeds and powers it all ?

you just don't know where you stand or how well you can take in trust in any of it after that I guess .

was it just the card ? or the motherboard did something that caused it ? or the psu overvolted in some crazy way ??? fingers crossed

cant say , seeing I don't have any first hand with whats all going on or went on ? if I felt it was just the card then I'd more then likely stick a new card in and go give it a week or so and see . if it seems to be good call it good if something else or the new card pops or any ''strange'' issues or constant stability issues then I would more then likely junk the system cause then it would be hard to have any more confidence in any part of it or what other damage occurred [opinion]

tough call ?

you said the card worked on the tv just use it all I use now is hdtv's as monitors [ when I buy new today ] I still use my old ones as well right down to my old CRT's

I ben thinking on this one as my next monitor [thinking]

I'm using this from them now

I used palit gtx1050 ti it was running without issues, but when I played GTA V after few hours it fried.
So I don't know If I should put new msi gtx1050 ti gaming x and hope not to fry it or I should change PSU.

Tommorow, I think I will bring my computer to better repair guy, with more experience than me in these stuff. I will ask to test my PSU. :/

you could monitor it like with this nwinfo64 and see min and max values wile your running thing to see if any go out of whack ?

just found this ?

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3237073/gtx-1050ti-broken-burn-smell.html

like I said above maybe the dvi of that monitor shorted / started to fail and caused all this ?

then one point made is the card [gtx 1050 ] don't require a pci-e lead from the psu and gets all of its power from the motherboards slot so that may eliminate the psu being at issue seeing its not directly hooked up to the card

then you see how these card have been

Thanks for replying
That palit card didn't require any power connector.
But my new MSI card (Msi GTX 1050TI Gaming X) require 6 pin. It's working but no dvi signal using DVI to DVI cable. After Driver install i get black screen. Safe mode works. :/, Without drivers it works too.

But I tested it on my friends Monitor with HDMI cable it worked PERFECTLY. Even POST, BOOT, Windows Loading, Desktop everything was showing.
On my TV with HDMI it works perfectly too. :/ With Latest drivers. Everything was perfect!
So I think it's very big chance that my Monitor is bad, and I should buy with HDMI port.

P.S. Could it be issue that my monitor got DVI-D dual link port and GPU got same DVI-D dual link port, but i'm using DVI-D Single link port ? I just don't know what to look for... What can cause these issues, so
I will bring my computer with monitor to better expert and he will look at it, and I will explain my issues, and he probably have other graphic cards to test with my monitors dvi port.

single link should be fine for you monitor I use single link here on all mine .

you need to find another dvi ''monitor'' to test with testing on hdmi or what ever don't show / tell you a thing cause the dvi is at issue not the rest

i don't know if i would plug in to your old monitor in case it was the reason it toasted the card to start with in till you know 100% for sure

it does seem its coming down to the monitor just went bad . all you can do is the best you can now maybe worth getting a new monitor to be on the safe side of things ?

"if i would plug in to your old monitor in case it was the reason it toasted the card"
By this you mean, that my monitor toasted my previous gpu ? :/ (English isn't my native language so sorry, for not understanding.)
Is this possible ?

maybe ?? something in the monitor doing with the dvi may of shorted out or what ever and traveled back to the card and shorted it out ??

anything is possible and that 2 common things you have go wrong the card went bad and killed the dvi of the monitor or the monitor went bad in the dvi circuitry and damaged the card ???

unless I was 100% sure the monitor was not to blame it would be hard to hook up to it and risk this happening a 2ed time

you new card is not working on its dvi port but then unless you test another monitor with a dvi you don't know if its now just a driver issue because you say it works in safe mode

if the dvi was bad on the monitor it should not work at all with drivers or just safe mode , so why just in safe mode ??? that's whats got me baffled

now here the guy said it was something in the pci-e slot ?? maybe the ''golden fingers '' in the slot got burnt or something ??

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/351261-33-monitor-working-safe-mode-win7

was there any bad golden fingers on the card after it '' FRIED ''

look at the first screen shot from here . you can imagine the inside of the motherboard slot look about the same

http://www.overclock.net/t/1380934/mod-me-back-to-life-7970-burnt-fingers

all should be clean and shiny gold / copper new looking no discoloration [you got a new card so you can see what it looks like new out of the box]

It's very hard to tell.
:Not enough power for card ? Can't be, because HDMI works.

Safe mode is without drivers.
I'm thinking about that my monitor can't handle this gpu... :/ It's resolution or refresh rate, or previous fried gpu damaged monitor and it got even worse...
Tommorow, or the day after tomorrow, I will bring computer and monitor to repair guy, and we will try to test DVI port with Different monitor.

I didn't brought computer to repair guy, because I tested PSU by myself, voltages was very good at heavy loads.

P.S. Bought new monitor with HDMI port, it works perfectly.
P.S.S. Where I can download Asus Vx228h Drivers, because in Device manager it shows like Generic PnP monitor. :/

'' Generic PnP monitor '' that's normal most all monitors are covered under a generic microsot driver even all mine are that way and the hdtvs I use as well

no drivers just utilities [ may not even find any use for them ??] and the manual is all

https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/VX228H/HelpDesk_Download/

like said not worth much [opinion and your call if you think you may like to use it ??]

UPDATE:

That old monitor (with not working DVI port) I plugged it into Laptop HDMI. (Laptop HDMI to DVI monitor) And somehow, now my LAPTOP's HDMI port not working.
I tried laptop to tv, to other monitor, not working at all. When I connect to other monitor it just says No video input and instantly goes to sleep mode.

So I think that my old monitors DVI port is sending wrong voltage... And that's how it destroyed my GPU DVI port...
