hi all i have a problem while gaming when i and playing demanding games such as Skyrim special edition all of a sudden my monitor will go black and then display no signal and while the monitor says no signal the pc is still running because the connected hardware sound will play. This problem only happens when i am gaming and it can occur at any point sometimes it can be 5 minutes after starting the game other times it can be around 30 mins and sometimes it will play for hours with no problems . There is no overclock on the GPU this problem started about 2 weeks ago and it has just been getting progressively worse it is happening a lot more often than when it first started. when the crashes occur my temps are about 32 degrees and plugging a second monitor in will make the display crash as well. Display driver failed to start; using Microsoft Basic Display Driver instead. Check Windows Update for a newer display driver comes up in the system log when the crash happens. also intensive games crash to desktop a lot as well

My specs are as follows
Corsair 1000w PSU gold certified
8GB Corsair vengeance ram at 2133Mhz
Intel I7 6700k cpu
Gtx 780 (no overclocking)
Samsung M.2 drive
Z170 pro gaming motherboard
and the system is cooled by water cooling
