Hi all, hope someone can help me.

Hardware:
Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED Laptop (UX7602)
External monitor: Acer VG272UV
HDMI 1.4 Cable

I have previously used this monitor (and the same cable) together with a Dell Precision 7740 with a Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 GPU, and it worked like a charm at 144Hz. Now I have a Asus Zenbook with a Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 GPU, and the monitor refuses to work on 144Hz. As soon as I select 144Hz it goes blank and tell me there is no signal.

I have the latest Nvidia driver and monitor driver. I have tried doing a clean install of the Nvidia driver, but to no avail.

Anyone have any idea's

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Check to see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates. Use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode from your laptop, then manually reinstall the latest GPU driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Thanks for you answer and sugestion.

Followed the recommended practies on DDU homepage:
- Diconnect Ethernet cable
- Reboot into safe mode
- Run DDU, removed Nvidia and Intel driver
- Reboot
- Install Latest Intel and Nvidia Driver
- Reboot

Unfortunately it didn't work. Still same issue
