It is an acer XZ322QU. On overdrive normal it still has very bad ghosting and when I turn it on extreme it has some terrible inverse ghosting turning VRB on does absolutely nothing. tried putting it at cool color temperature didn't work, tried changing the gamma didn't work, tried lowering the refresh rate didn't work, and tried using free sync made it worse I've tried so many fixes and its pass its warranty I'm so lost, but I don't want to get rid of it cause my dad got it for my birthday seriously any suggestions or fixes possible please shoot it my way

That 210 bucks monitor seems to have wide-spread ghosting issue that is non-fixable. So, for gaming, it isn't that good. For everything else, it is good.

and its pass its warranty
It has 3 years of warranty. Whereby when warranty is already up, it was used 3 years without issues. So, why the change of heart?

my dad got it for my birthday
Be grateful you got a birthday present at all. Remember, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Ghosting is to do with response time, and not refresh rate. 240Hz but 5ms response time monitor will have ghosting regardless. But 60Hz and 1ms response time monitor does not.
Also, based on what i read about that specific model from the net, many people experience ghosting with it, without ever finding a fix.

So, since you didn't have to spend a dime on it and got it for free, what's there to complain about?
Wish someone would gift me a monitor... But nope, have to spend my hard earned money to buy all of my PC hardware. Btw, i also grew up under poverty line, but this is not an excuse to complain over gifts, as rare as they are.

All-in-all, if you want better monitor, buy one. Simple as that. :)
