Hi,

I have been looking all over the net for a review on the Samsung 1100DF monitor, but didn´t find any...

I want to buy a new monitor, but i'm having a hard time making my mind.

First i was interested in the Samsung SyncMaster 959NF, it has the natural flat CRT ( perfect flat ) and refresh rates of 85hz at 1600x1200 ( i always use 1600x1200 resolution ), but since i already have a 19 inche monitor, i would like to buy one with 20 inches visible area.

From my search on the 21-22 inches monitores, it seems both have the same visible area ( 20 inches ).

I was very interested in the 1200NF, it has very good refresh rates at 1600x1200 and 1800x1440 and it has the natural flat CRT but it's to expensive for me.

The SyncMaster 1100DF ( 21 inches/ 20 visible area ) is cheaper and have the same refresh rates at 1600x1200 and 1800x1440. The crt, it's not the natural flat, it's the dyna flat, it's not perfectly flat but it seems good.

I search for others 21-22 inches monitores ( with a perfectly flat screen ) from sony and Mitsubishi, but they are just to expensive for me.

If anyone can give me more info about this monitor, that would be great.

Thanks.

ps: sorry my English

I haven't come across any reviews of the Samsung 1100DF. Samsung makes good monitors though.

If you're willing to get a refurb, Sony has the CPD-G520 at their website for $499 shipped. This is probably one of the best affordable 21" monitors, this and the Mitsubishi 2070SB-BK.

take a look at the Nec FE2111SB. the same tube (nec-mitsubishi diamond tron) but a lower price (due to differences in electronics and the brand).
