Question Monitor Hiccup. Everything had a blue or yellow tinge. I fixed it but I don't know why it happened.

I turned my PC on this morning and saw that everything had a yellow or blue tinge to it. It was mostly visible on text. I saw that no settings were changed but I reset my monitor to defaults anyway, which fixed it, and put my own settings back that I've had forever with no problem but I'm not sure why this happened in the first place. Any suggestions? Its a Dell S2721DGF. Could it be getting burned out? I've had no other problems with this monitor for 3 years.

You might want to see if changing the cables that feed display from your platform changes the issue. Sometimes a damaged or failing/faulty cable can cause the issue you've stated.
