Question Monitor keeps going black for a few seconds, and then back to normal screen ?

Hello! So I use a ViewSonic VS13518 monitor on an HP PC running Windows 10.

But I have one issue with it. While I was on my pc with the monitor connected, the screen goes black for a few seconds, and then back to normal screen. I do not remember pressing the 2 button on my monitor. I keep getting that issue and it is really annoying. How do I fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)? History of heavy gaming use?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

Double check that the monitor's video and power cables are fully and firmly in place Check any audio cables if applicable.

Try using the monitor on another known working (no problems) computer.

Try using another known working monitor on your computer.

Determine if the problem follows the monitor or stays with your HP PC.

Likewise swap in known working video cables.

Key is to methodically narrow down to a possible culprit.

Could be anything, backlight failing, refresh rate change, power fluctuation, anything.

Try and identify what is happening when it does it and if there is a pattern.
