First off, I'm not exactly a genius when it comes to software lingo, so try and keep things somewhat simple :).
Also, here are my specs:
-fx 6300
-r9 270
-m5a97 r2.0
-wd blue 1tb had
-cx 600 psychological
-8gb ram (2x4gb)
- Windows 10 64bit

A few days ago while I was playing CS GO, all of a sudden my two monitors showed some type of weird buggy pattern all over the screen, and the audio began to loop. After about 30 seconds it reverted back to normal and informed me that " A display driver has stopped working and has recovered", and I went on with my gaming for a couple more minutes. Then it happened again, accept this time it would not revert back to normal. The strange thing was that I could still hear my friends on Skype and they could hear me. So I restarted my shutting it down with the power button, but as it was booting up, the Asus bios screen showed, and then my display lost signal, as well as my keyboard and mouse. As this happens I can her my gpu fans turning off.

After searching around, I tried pulling the plug, holding the power button for a minute and turning it back on. This worked somewhat and brought me to the windows recovery screen or something( can't remember ). From there I went into safe mode and uninstalled my video drivers and reinstalled them, and tried rebooting. Nothing. I tried uninstalling them and rebooting, and without any drivers, I was able to boot normally, but both screens would show the same thing. I tried pulling out the battery from my motherboard and waiting and that didn't work either.

I'm hooped guys and I really want to fix this stupid problem. Any help would be super.

Solution

Try changing in Safe mode to a lower display resolution and also change display settings from multiple / duplicate to "show desktop on monitor 1" or similar settings.
