Question Monitor no signal, in depth

My monitor has no signal, and I know how I did that, I was trying to use a splitter to connect more hdmi monitors but when I plugged it in the splitter starting smoking, after 5 seconds I unplugged it, I told my mum about it and she said the splitter is 5 volts required and Might’ve put a plug that was higher volts she apparently said it was 9. everything else connected to my computer is fine, it’s just the monitor no longer having signal, I tried it with other ones as well and they have no signal, I’m not sure if the hdmi port is broken or the rest of the monitors are just old.

Zotac 1060 6g, amd ryzen 3 2200g, hyperx 16g Ram, b350 bazooka, the splitter smoked up as I may of plugged a higher voltage plug that was the same shape.

you have an apu. unplug the 1060 and test with the motherboard output

The hdmi port on the motherboard always doesn’t work, should I still try to see if that’ll work?
