Monitor no signal

So our puppy ran through my bunch of cords and ripped out the hdmi cord. The connector looked a little bent so I went to the store and bought a new one. Brand new HDMI cord and monitor still says no signal. I tried turning pc off and disconnecting the power. Still nothing is helping. The buttons on my monitor also do nothing other than the power button.

probably the when puppy ripped thru the cables your video card got dislodge, try opening your pc. re-seat the GPU then power it on to see if that works. also check the HDMI port on the computer just to make sure nothing is bend.
