Monitor Not Being Filled

Hi,

My monitor doesn't seem to be filled, I have it on the Maximum Native Resolution which is 1440x900 and it was filling the screen perfectly a few hours ago until I attempted to make the resolution larger, to like 1920x1080. I'm using a DVI Adapter from my Graphics Card, to a VGA cable which then goes to the VGA slot in my monitor.

SOLUTION

Ok, I've fixed it now - missed out a setting in my monitor which could help after I positioned my it correctly using Catalyst Control Center so thanks to a friend for telling me about that.

I made the screen width extremely high using CCC and then turned the clock on my monitor down so it fits just right.
