Question Monitor Not Detected After Bios Update

I have an old gaming pc that desperately needed and upgrade. I have a ASUS prime 450M motherboard, and was going to upgrade my Ryzen 5 2600 to a Ryzen 5 5600X. After the install, I had no monitor input, which I learned (or thought) was due to my bios version being very old. I put my old cpu in to download the most recent update, in which I did, it stated I needed a system reset, in which I did, and have had no monitor detection since. I tried taking out the lithium battery, with the same result. What can I do?

Are you saying that you cant even get into bios now, no onscreen post at all?

Also, have you tried plugging the monitor cable into a different port, tried a different cable? ( what type of cable connection?
Have you tried a different monitor?

I have tried 2 monitors, and they are both hdmi.

It does not have one.

have you changed the cpu out for the new one?.

once you update the bios the 2600 wont be detected anymore.

theres a very limited amount of space on the b450 chipset so it will not boot most likely now until you install the 5600x

older boards of the b450 and lower had 16mb bios chip. because newer chips came out they have to make space by deleting older cpus from the list of support on newer bios.

newer ones later got a 32mb overhaul.
