Question Monitor not displaying on PC ?

When connecting my Philips 273V monitor via HDMI to the PC with RTX5500 I get a message on the monitor screen asking me to adjust output to 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz.

I've done this using a second monitor, but it doesn't work.

Weirder still is that the monitor will display when I connect it to my laptop.

I think you meant RX 5500 isn't it?

So, you say you used another monitor to set your Windows display settings to 1080p 60Hz? What was it before you changed it?

And if you check your windows display with your second monitor again, is it still set to 1080p 60Hz?

And what is the native resolution of the second monitor? Is it also FHD?

Sorry, yes you're right on the GPU

My main monitor was a Dell that was 1080 and defaults to 59.940, but I updated this to 60hz before connecting the new monitor. The HP which is currently my second screen is 1080 60.

The new Philips monitor is 1080 60 and works if I connect it to my work laptop, but not on the PC.
