Question Monitor not working properly

I have a new PC

• Intel Core i3 10100
• 8GB DDR4
• 500GB NVMe SSD
• NVIDIA GTX1650 4GB

and old monitor


Samsung SyncMaster 216BW 21.6-inch LCD Monitor

PROBLEM

Monitor is turned on,same as PC , everything is fine except there is no display on monitor.
I have tried to left monitor on and then use PSU switch (turn off and on) on my PC after which is my monitor working fine with display. I know this is hurting my PC so im looking for some other possible solutions.

Update your post to include new PC specs and OS information.

Make and model "old monitor"?

By "power cut" do you mean something like the PC freezes up and you have to hard power the new PC down via a PSU switch or even unplugging the new PC?

And then, on a second boot attempt, the monitor starts working?

More explanation and additional details needed. What, if anything has been tried to fix the problem?
