Monitor refresh rate

AMD CCC wont let me set my monitor to 1080p@75hz, when i select it the refresh rate jumps down to 60hz but when i leave it at 60hz i get sceen flickering. Anyway to fix this?

Did you check your monitor's default refresh rate?

If not, right click on desktop, click screen resolution -> Advanced Settings -> Go to MONITOR tab -> and see what is the default refresh rate

60hz, i cant change it there either. My monitor should support 75hz

That is because 60hz is the default resolution of 1080p.

But depending on what connection you are using on a monitor.
There is a slight drift. You should have an option for 59hz in such a case and it will resolve the problem.

What is your monitor, is it correctly indentified under the device manager? If not, then Windows won't "know" what your monitor is, or what modes it can support. If that is the case, then by default, Windows will limit your resolution and refresh rates to standard safe modes.
You will need to install the driver, or inf files for your monitor.

there is an option but it only lets me use it at 1280x720 which i dont want to use

I know, the problem is that it is set as 60hz right now.

Go to the BenQ website and download the driver, install it, and problem solved.
