Hi everyone

I have a a88xm plus motherboard with a A10 7890K
32 GB of ddr3 ram @ 1866 Mhz 9-9-9-27
Rx 480 with a custom cooler
750 watt power supply

This week , the PC was working fine , after I uninstalled avast antivirus . With the windows 10 antivirus it's fine .Then PC started doing this , The monitor screen goes black , it says no source , the cpu fan spikes up to 100%. I have to hold the power button to shut it off wait a few second to turn it on again That's the only change I've made to it .
The cpu it's OC to 4.5 Ghz , it's stable as it gets . The RAM too . That the only change I remember making before this started happening .

Should I install back avast ??

The latest drivers for the 480 are installed .

I also ran a disk to check for errors and nothing

After a few tries I got it to finish the virus scan and nothing .

It's not dust. I keep the pc clean, it has 3 120 mm fans

The power supply looks to be working fine too .

If anyone can point me in the right direction on what to do , it'll be my h appreciate it .

hi
its a termaltake 750 though power gold .
the gpu looks fine ....
no events in event viewer , i checked !!!!! lol

i did that too , back to stock , still crashes ..

but something I've been looking into , i recently installed another two ram sticks , they are different frequency . but in the bios , i set it to be the same . i took them out . that put the pc to work again

yay..... i did something right ..lol

they are different frequency and different kits . i even change the timings in the bios too and i up the voltage

now , everytime i put the case together , i put the cpu in the place it goes . it doesnt work ..lol

thats my next project , im going to sleeve and cut the cable length , its going to be fun . i have everything ready

but i think im going to change this ram , but it doesnt make sense . I've to do so . this pc i built its about 4 years old , i think its time for an upgrade . and ryzen its looking pretty good

Something wasn't loose , it was the mobo , in her last posts .
I try it turning on the PC with no ram. I get the same as if there was ram .
I took the cmos battery out , waited 10 mins. That didn't work
I try the on board vga. , didn't work either , the only thing left , it's try another pci lane .

Thanks for your help
