Hi,

I'm not sure is you have some sort of category for monitors, or if this forum Supports monitor discussion but here i go anyway. (Do not really want to sign up for another forum just to ask a single question)

Anyways, I've read alot about how a ATI 4850 works well with a 1680 x 1050 resolution. So i was thinking about upgrading my 1024 x 768 (Yeah i know....awesome right :p) to a 20" monitor. Currently i have two lined up:

AOC N20WB Widescreen 20" : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AOC-N20WB-Widescreen-20-Black-TFT-Flatscreen-Monitor_W0QQitemZ190306639705QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_ComputerComponents_Monitors?hash=item190306639705&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A15%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A3%7C294%3A50

Samsung SyncMaster 2033SW 20" : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Samsung-SyncMaster-2033SW-20-Widescreen-LCD-Monitor_W0QQitemZ270386176203QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_ComputerComponents_Monitors?hash=item270386176203&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1690%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A2%7C294%3A50

I was just wondering if the 15 pound extra was worth spending on the samsung monitor.

Thanks,
Jordan.

I have never used an AOC monitor, but I have used 4 samsungs, currently a 22" ToC and I have never haved a problem with anyone of them.

For me, for sake of mind, I usually pay the extra 35 - 40 ($).
