Hi Can anyone please suggest me a monitor, My budget is Rs.30000 (or 400usd) I do mostly gaming (fps, tps and rpg's) and movies.
I was considering Acer Nitro VG271U but i guess my gtx970 dosent support freesync.

(Currently i have CPU: i5 3570k
Video Card: Zotac GTX970
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO
Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4
Monitor: Dell S2216H)

Solution
The 970 is going to struggle quite a bit with games at UHD resolution unless your willing to drop the graphics pretty much to the lowest quality and/or play older games.

Between the two I'd prefer the 1440P/144hz/IPS over the UHD/60hz/Gsync.

The Acer would be a good upgrade but you will need to turn down the graphic settings a bit to run the games smoothly. Even though you can't use Freesync now if you upgrade to a AMD or newer Nvidia GPU then you'll be able to use it.
Thank you for the reply, I do plan to upgrade my full system next year as it is over 6 years old.
for now i want to upgrade the monitor to a bigger size which can just take full advantage of the current setup.

Hi i know this is supposed to be a simple decision but i am still a bit confused,
how is XB281HK (compared to VG271U ) it has gsync and its UHD but its 60hz and Rs.8000 (about 100 USD) more. i don't mind spending a bit extra if its worth and if it makes the viewing exp better considering my pc specs.

It has a higher resolution (UHD) and Gsync cost more which explains the higher cost.

The ultrawide is really nice, I have a 2560x1080P 34" version and love it as it's better immersion for your gaming. If it were me I'd return the Acer and get the MSI however if your playing competitive FPS then you might want to stick with the Acer due to the higher refresh rate. Colors also may look better on the Acer (IPS > VA).

I do mostly single player FPS.
and ya that's my dilemma, either to go with 3440x1440 VA at 100Hz or stick to 2560x1440 IPS at 144Hz.
would the color difference and refresh rate be that much noticeable or is it worth compromising on them for display area!?
I am pretty sure my GTX970 wouldn't be enough for newer games, so i might go for SLI for now. and even if i upgrade it will be RTX 2070 or RX5700 or similar range depending on price late next year
