I bought two identical monitors, ones running on hdmi(off of 650ti) and another running off of VGA-DVI on the same card. Neither screens will come on during boot, They only recieve signal when I've reached the login screen. This is problematic because if the power goes out, my hdd does a scan, or any of the millions of things that can go wrong in a boot test do, I cannot see them going wrong, I cant do jack about any of it, without grabbing an old CRT out of the basement just to see my boot screens. Any fix to this?

Solution
Nothing was changed except monitors then it's an issue with the new monitors. They should be getting signal like the old ones but just not displaying. The only reason for that would be if display settings were out of range but that shouldn't be happening with boot screens.
I tried that, The blue light on the monitor just constantly flickers on and off as if in standby mode or something. turning on the screen just displays the logo for about 3 seconds, and then it goes right back off. cannot access any menus or anything on the monitor until its actually on. The monitors only come on at this screen http://prntscr.com/ava8yi

Thus is why I'm so damn puzzled. The monitors work perfectly after the fact. But recieve no signal during post. It actually flashes the display port and no signal for both screens when i first boot as

1:VGA: No signal
2:HDMI: No signal

Do you think maybe doing the free upgrade to windows 10 would somehow over write the issue? or maybe reinstalling windows 7?

I've noticed if i unplug the power from these monitors, They don't lose power. Its as if they have some sort of battery charge, Be it short. Maybe for anti surge? Could that possibly be causing the issue, the bios in the screen aren't being refreshed?

I don't think windows would change anything since booting is the mobo. When it gets to windows, it's fine. If you push the button to go to bios, would it not show that either? Does disconnecting one or the other monitor change anything?

That may just be the caps still holding enough charge. But once you turn it on, it should refresh but you aren't getting signal still.

It can be something wrong with the bios, i got a similar issue with a friend's pc with integrated intel and a 7770hd, check for the mobo drivers, and /or maybe a bios update

No updates available unfortunately. Disconnecting either of the monitors show no change. It wont show bios screen if i push the button. I have to use an old monitor to see my bios when i open it.

Welp, After tireless hours of research, It seems there is no one clear answer. Its kinda to the point to, The screens both came defective and for some odd reason ignore the signal during boot. I bought a crappy 30 dollar old school lcd dell monitor and now running a tri-monitor config simply so i can always see that boot screen lol. If anyone else has this problem. I hope you had a warranty, because I didn't bother to register my products within the first month due to the hype of shiny shiny pretty pretty. at any rate, its kinda awkwardly nice having this oldschool 17 inch monitor to my side for reading. If only the mount could be used in a portrait fashon D=
